For some reason I loose connection to my home router after an unknown amount of time and the only way to get it back is to turn off the Web encryption and then turn it back on and all is well again. Does anybody have any ideas? Note: I am also using the MAC address requirement on my router.
Thanks
Actually I was just recently able to connect my 8125 to my wireless network after several prior attempts with the encryption disabled. I ended up having to reset the router and start from scratch. Also noted that when I turned off the SSID I lost connection with the device....apparently this device does not see hidden SSID's....at least not my Dlink router, I don't have any issues with other wireless devices. The DLink is a few years old and I'm thinking of picking up a Linksys W54GS because it has more encryption options verses only having WEP, maybe the connection dropping will go away, what do you think? Thanks for your input!
