Align screen after reset

I have a Toshiba e335. If I perform the total reset, it works fine. Once I sync to my computer to restore my backup, the stylus only works on the top half of the screen. As a result, I can't get to the option of "align" the screen. If I perform a total reset again, it works fine (just no info). Again I sync with my computer, and the data is back ... but I can't align the screen.

Is there a way to "tab" to the various options using the buttons? I've tried everything.

On my device I can navigate with the equivalent of the big round button on your device...

I'm guessing the device is no longer under warranty?

I would try a hard reset, and then start from scratch - it has to be something you install or put on the device that is conflicting...
