I'll lay it all out here. I have a Samsung i700, running PPC version 3.0 (PXA).
I"m a field tech for an elevator company, and the phone was supplied to me by the company. I am unable to do an active sync, as the second I plug in the USB cable, I get all kinds of warning messages from the company software on the PPC. I am able to install cab files no problem.
My questions are these...
I've seen applications out there to switch the screen to "landscape" mode, but not for my OS. Anybody know of one out there??
Is there a way to have custom ringtones for each person? (again see above "not for my OS" comment)
I hope the questions are not redundant, I have looked all over the forum for the answers I need, but haven't found them yet.....
Nyditot is available, and will let you rotate your screen, but I've heard it's lacking...it does have a free trial though.
As for custom ringtones, there are a number of "aftermarket" programs that will allow you to do this, I suggest you look through our downloads page...a lot of people like Photo Contacts Pro but it is kind of expensive, in my opinion.
Also, pdaphonehome is one of the best forums for your device; if you can't find the answer here, be sure to visit there!
