Had my xda mini 3 wks and all ok untill today, when i plug my phone into the usb cable to synch my phone, i get no noise tinkle to tell me its hooked up and it dont sync neither. its getting power from it but the synch software on my pc says it cant see the phone and dont synch. what have i done or what can i do to fix it? ive tried to remove active sync from my phone but i cant it says its shared somehere else but i cant work it out. please help thank you gareth
well you can't really removed your active sync on your device because its in the ROM and embedded in the Windows mobilw 2003se, what i can suggest is why not try to sync your pda via bluetooth connection and use your sync cable to charge it, another thing you might consider is try to change your sync cable it may be the problem.
I hope it helps...

its been working all night, now it wont ive re-installed active sync onto my pc incase that was it but that has not made no diffrence. i dont get that dingle sound when i hook my phone up to the cable no more either what has happened?
It's a little late, but is the USB cable directly connected to a port on your computer, or does it connect to a USB hub first? I know some people have problems with hubs now and then...
If you uninstalled/reinstalled activesync on your pc, you may need to create a new partnership.
Did you try soft resetting your phone? that usually solves 50-80% of ppc troubles...
