All right. I've had my 8125 for about a month and a half now. I just tried sending my first MMS the other day, but it will not send. It just sits in the Outbox, but never gets sent. Does this have anything to do with my deleting my GPRS connection thing so that my internet will never connect? How do I send my MMS? Please help!
MMS was working fine when I had my Mpx220. I changed nothing on my account when I got the 8125.
I read through that, mine does not have the option to connect to Cingular MediaNet. I tried setting it to The Internet, and then I connected to Wifi, and that still did not work...
I believe it is because I deleted the GPRS settings off of my phone so that it wouldnt' connect to that by accident.. Can anyone post up those settings so that I can put them back on?
I have a grandfathered plan. It's an old media works basic plan. 250 texts per month + 50 mms per month. I'm not sure if there was any internet included or not. I would assume that it would be like my old phone, and know its a message and just count as that.
Hmm. Just to be safe, I would check out your account usage after sending 1 or 2, just to make sure they aren't charging you per kb --> that could get expensive!
Checked my account online. It is going through as MMS, so we are all good! Now I just have to make sure when I go onto the internet it's not connecting through their GPRS service...
