I use Pocketmax PhoneAlarm. It lets you customize every ringer/sound notification aspect of your ppc. They have a free trial and great support from the developer.
Can anyone tell me how to make the notification for a new email repeat until answered? I am using windows mobile v5
I found a way to edit thge registry to enable reminders. I esentially copied the setting from reminders to my sms notifications. It should work for the email notifications as well.
First you need a registry editor like Mobile Registery Editor. There are other programs listed in many threads here as well.
Steps
The location of the reminders notification seting is
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Notifications\{15F1 1F90-8A5F-454c-89FC-BA9B7AAB0CAD}
To set new mail notifications to allow repeat to be turned on edit
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Notifications\{A877 D65A-239C-47a7-9304-0D347F580408}
Set the options to 1073741833 just like in the reminders field. This will allow you to turn on repeat for new mail. It should work as well for any of the notification listed there as well.
Unfirtunately I do not know what the numbers mean, but it worked for me turning it on for SMS messages.
Just a warning: registry changes are potentially harmful to your device, so be sure to have a backup or some other disaster recovery plan in place before you make changes!
