I was charging the phone with a blackberry charger and the icon showed it was charging.
I turned off the phone to let it charge.
Now the phone won't turn on.

Any ideas?
Thanks,

Have you tried removing the battery - letting it sit for a couple minutes - then putting the battery back in?
Also - did you check that the blackberry charger wasn't too high of an output for the 8125? It's possible that you could have sent to much juice to it and fried something ... but I would hope not.
the blackberry charger is 5 volts.
I hope thats not too high. It would suck if I fried the insides.
I take the battey out and let it sit and see what happens.
If that doesnt work i'll try another battery.
I removed the battery over night and the phone started in the morning.
But it only got to the blue start up screen and turned off again.
Any suggestions?

what does that look like?
Is that the info on the top left corner when you first start up the phone?
If it is then yes.
If you're talking about additional information...then no.
i tried taking the battery out for an hour and putting it back in again but it still wont start now.
I looked at that thread already and tried a hard reset.
But apparently it doesnt work it the phone is not on.
I'm thinking of taking it to a cingular store and see if they can figure it out.
Oliver... one more thing... seeing that you were trying to charge the 8125, have you tried charging it with the OEM charger or a 8125 compatible charger? Maybe you're just simply out of battery juice now that the device hasn't been charged for the past couple of days?
Actually I fried the battery. I took it to a cingular store and they exchanged battery for me. Now it works fine. I'll never use the blackberry charger on it again.
