Talking New to the PPC world

Hi all!!! I just joined this forum because a mate suggested I join up since this forum is way cool!

I have an i-mate K-JAM and I would like to know how to be able to connect it to the Internet in my home.

This is how my current configuration looks.

I have a DSL connection which requires a username and password to connect to my ISP.

My modem is plugged into an access point which my laptop wirelessly uses to connect to the net (again, username and password required to connect to the net).

I would like to know what I need to do to make the K-JAM connect to the Internet via the access point. Is there some option/setting in the pda where I enter my username and password details to connect to the Internet (using the wifi connection in the pda and the access point) or is there something else I need to do to get this to work?

If anyone has any information on how I can achieve this connection, please let me know as I will be extremely greatful.

Many thanks in advance and I look forward to reading your comments!

Cheers!!!

GrAmMaRiAn

Hi... thanks for your replies.

I am already able to connect to my wireless network. however, my dsl modem is connected to the access point and in order for me to use the internet, i have to login using a username and password which then connects me to my ISP. Its this part of the connection which puzzles me because there is no way to create a broadband connection in the pda

I've been reading on other forums that if you set the Power Mode to Best Performance in the Wifi Settings then it may work. What kind of router are you using? You can also try upgrading the ROM.
