I live on a college campus and when you connect to the college wifi connection it is an open connection but before you surf the web your browser is redirected to a password page where i can type in my school password
It wont redirect to that page so i can't access any other page
Access the password page on a desktop pc, then copy the url it redirscts to (The page where you enter your password) And see if you can open that url on your pocket pc and enter your password then. If you can you could make it a favorite or your home page for easy access.
If it's a secure connection, (If there's a lock icon in your broser near the bottom right of the window) then pocket IE won't open it. If that's the case, you could try using minimo (Google it) as it supports secure connections....but is kinda buggy.
Other than that, I would talk to your college's tech staff. I would hope they'd be willing to make it a pocket pc friendly campus, or at least make or give you a workaround. Who knows, perhaps this is a common problem and there's an easy fix they can tell you.
Okay, that's why. https signifies a secure connection. I reccommend trying it with minimo: Minimo Other than that, you'll have to contact the lsu tech team to make it work. (helpdesk@lsu.edu) I did a few searches on your website, and nothing came up. (Well, nothing useful)
