Ringtone Volume on 8125

I converted some .wav files to .mp3, and am using them as ringtones on my cingular 8125, but I'd like them louder. Is there any way to do that?

the best way to rip your mp3 files @ 192 kbps or above...otherwise they will sound somewhat horrible or play at a reduced quality, and in turn making the maximum volume of the ringtone lower.

personally, i use a sound editting piece of software called SoundForge (by Sound Foundry) to make my ringtones. Its very complicated to use and isnt 100% user friendly, but it DOES allow u to boost mp3 volumes....

also..keep in mind the speaker size of the 8125.

Re: Goldwave

Thanks for the tip about Goldwave. I installed it, and it works like a charm. You're right about the degree of volume, too much and its distorted..just have to play around with it. Again, thanks.
