increase speed for processor and modem for Cingular 8125

Hello,

I purchased a 8125 and it seems like it takes forever to go between programs and to browse the internet. Does anyone have any solutions?

Any insight or guidance is appreciated.

Thank you shimazuc. Unfortunately, I do not know anything about "PHM RegEdit"

How can I obtain this? Sorry I am a novice when it comes to the behind the scenes functions.

id try googling it...

if u want to get the most out of what you have, you might wanna try overclocking the processor to a stable speed of 240 mhz. Even though the 8125 advertises a clockspeed of 200 mhz, it only runs at 180. The apps that will help u overclock the phone are OmapClock,OmapClockPlus, and Total Commander.

personally, it took me hours to get it to work and at the end of the day, i couldnt even tell u what i did to make it stick @ 240 mhz (after putting the phone into hibernation or resetting it). But this thread DID help me get the job done...somewhat..
