Insurance for Cingular 8125

Hey i have a question. Where can I find a good company or website or whatever that will provide me with insurance for my pocket pc? Cingular doesn't give insurance for those kind of devices so i have no idea of what to do. thanks

Yeah.. it's interesting how Cingular has insurance for devices other than PDA/Pocket PCs... sucks... I dont know what sort of personal insurance you may have but something like this may be covered under home owner's insurance and the like. I'll let you know if I run into any solutions...

I have insurance through Cingular on my 8125... I got my 1st replacement phone today also.

Hmm... that's interesting because I just talked to a Cingular rep over the phone today to confirm and I specifically asked about insurance for the 8125, which he said Cingular does not offer. Perhaps a recent change?

jz9833, was the insurance applied at time of purchase through Cingular?

Yes. I had insurance put on my phone when I bought it.

I got my 8125 from ebay, so no insurance....my daughter got it directly from the local Cingular store and also could not get insurance on it....

cingular does not offer insurance at this moment for the 8125 but will be offering it shortly according to customer rep.

I just asked for it, and I pay only $5.99 a month for full coverage.

when you bought the phone who ever put the insurance on your account was not suppose to put it on. The phones DO NOT come with insurance. I bought one at this store and at first he told me i could not get insurance, but than a friend of mine walked into the store and he knew the salesman pretty well. so after asking about the insurance again, he said he would check it off, but told me you only get one replacement phone. because they have to honor the contract.
