Wireless Network 8125

OK everyone! I have spent hours looking into this and I am hoping there is a solution to my issue. First, I have an HTC 8125 on the Cingular network. I am on an unlimited data plan, do not use MediaNet and need to connect to my home network via a Westell 327W wireless router. Cingular tech support says I must sign up for their WiFi plan at $49.99 per month. HTC tech support says that whatever Cingular says, goes. I simply want to connect my 8125 to my home network as my signal strength in my house is poor at best for cellular communications. If I can't access our home network with the 8125, it truly is a brink at home. I only would use the connection on weekends when I am not if the office so it is crazy for me to spend $50 per month for this. HELP PLEASE! If there is a solution to this, please give me a step by step way to configure the 8125. I will forever be in your debt and praise your services from the moutnaintops if you can guide me.....

Why don't you just use the comm manager and manually connect to your network? It sounds like to me they are trying to sell you there broadband network connection.

Tried that. Couldn't connect. Should I be trying to setup a VPN or use a specific Network adapter on the 8125?
