WiFiFoFum installation question.

Im in the process of installing WiFiFoFum, and a screen pops up telling me that I have to install .NET Framework version 2.0.50727. I clicked on the link to download it, but there are multiple options to download, all of them variations of version 2.0......can anyone tell me which one to download and install?
Thanks,
WC

if theres a date, go by the most recent date. typically, the most updated versions of software is at the top of the list.

after installing .net framwork to the ppc, you should be able to successfully install wififofum....and just as a tip, make sure wifi is ON when ur using it..lol.

WiFiFoFum

I went to the Windows Update, and did a critical update and my puter, and it downloaded and installed the .NET framework update. Will now try to install the program and see if it still asks for the update.

Actually, for the ppc device you want .NET Compact Framework 2.0; x86, x64 and IA64 refer to pc versions.

Taken from the link:
System Requirements
  • Supported Operating Systems: Windows CE .NET; Windows Mobile 2003 software for Pocket PCs
  • Supported Device Operating Systems: Windows Mobile Software for Pocket PC 2003, Windows Mobile 5.0 for PocketPC and Smartphone, Windows CE .NET 5.0 and higher.

rainC,
Perhaps that 'stupid msg box" was referring to the NET Framework status of the PC and the X86 OpsSys stuff dragged the appropriate OpSys stuff for the ppc?

There's a heap I just DON'T want to know about IT/computers/software/firmware/hardware anymore. lol
It just best work OR become a shotgun target, IMNHO <grn>
