Recording a sound and setting it as a ringtone

Hi All,

I am used to ( on my Nokia 6680 ) recording sounds on my phone and setting them directly as alarm / ring tones.

Now I have an XDA Mini S, I can record sounds into "notes" but it sets them as an embedded sound inside a note file, rather than a separate entity in /wav or whatever format.

Can i record files and set them as playable files on this handset? I really would appreciate some help on this.

have you tried doing a right-click on the file?
