? on changing out message alerts

I found a site that I want to get wav files off of (http://mywebpages.comcast.net/jdeshon2/joewav.html). Now here is the n00b question.....how do I get these on my phone?

I tried going directly to the page that has the alert I want, but no luck. Do I need to save these to my desktop and transfer them to my phone via data cable?

Help a rookie.

whats up dirt mcgirt!

all u gotta do is download the wav first, then connect your phone to your pc via the usb cable. THEN, in active sync, click Tools>Explore My Device. From that window, youll see an icon that says "Windows Mobile Device (or something to that effect). Double click there, then drag and drop your wav file into the Windows folder. Now, on your phone, go to Start>Settings>Sounds & Notifications>Notifications Tab and change the event to "Messaging: New Text Message" and you should see your newly transferred wav in the list of available tones.

That was simple enough. Even a monkey like me could handle that.
Thanks for the help!

This means that you have your machine setup to hide hidden files. You need to go to Tools up at the top. Then Folder Option click the second tab View and select Show Hidden Files and Folders under the Hidden Files and Folders Sub heading. You will be able to view all hidden files on your computer as well as the Windows file on your PPC.
