You can isntall applications to your pocket by:
active sync - by connecting your pocket pc to your desktop/laptop via Cradle/USB/Bluetooth/IR, now download the installer its in .EXE format and run the installer.
.CAB - these type of files can be install directly into your pocket pc. you must have this directly on your device.
where to download, well there's a lot in the web, but to get you started why not try the download section you might find some good stuff there. For freeware head over at pocketpcfreewares.com, for games visit astraware a lot of games but shareware.
