recently I could not install cab files on my hp ipaq hx2490 pocket pc. The device asked me to install on another location. When I chose device, it could not install and asked me to install on another location. When I chose sd, it also says so and so cab cannot be installed. Anyone knows what the problem is. After soft reboot, the same thing happen. When I tried to clean reset to factory setting, I was not in a postion to do so because the manual asks me to hold calendar, messaging and power buttons while pressing the reset hole because the power button is on setting folder and the other two are on program folder. How to move the poser button from the setting folder to program so that i can do the hard or clean reset?
I have solved the probelm. I should have held the physical calender, messaging and powewr buttorns instead of the icons in the folders.
Now after clean reset, I can install any files thru active sync or install cab files directly on my ppc.
