I own an i-mate k-jam and have connected to my router before with it. then i hard reset it for other reasons and now it picks it up and asks for a network key (which i put in) but then says it's connecting.... for a very long time and doesn't stop. i don't know about modems etc. but i think somethings broke. could anyone help?
Welcome to Pocket PC Addict leon44! Sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your WiFi (who doesn't nowadays? ). How many times have you entered your network key? Maybe it was a typo? I don't think anything is broken... maybe just something simpler?
at first i thought it was a typo, but i've entered it about 15 times now and it's definately correct, it's easy to remeber (i know it shouldn't be but i live in the country and have no neighbours)
I think what BigZam is trying to say it to remove the security temporarily. Also, what encryption is your router running? 64-bit? 128-bit? And is it using WEP or WPA?
