Well... I finally received my Axim x51v.. and am really beginning to love it... so much to explore.. so much time
Question... I expected the Wifi reception to be much better than I am getting. When I am in the same room as the Access Point, I am registering a "poor" to "good" rating on signal strength...
I am so used to my laptop getting fabulous reception all around my house... am I expecting to much from the Axim?
Well.... I never tried it before... I really only had the updated ROM. I received my Axim, installed the new ROM, then started using it in WiFi mode...
I have an X50v and it was one of the first. The wifi has always been a little weak. Much weaker than my laptop. I suspect it has something to do with power drain.
