I'm new to this community AND have been out of pocket for awhile. Can anybody catch me up on what's the latest on syncing my xv6700 with my macs? Consider me an idiot. Bought it for mobile browsing while in the field at work and it does wonderful, but never had the time to puzzle out the compatibility issues upon purchase. now needing to swap data and contact info regularly. Doesn't have to be a perfect auto-sync, but at least a way to swap files, etc. My macs won't recognize it. What are my options?
Welcome to Pocket PC Addict James777! This question as been asked about the O2 XDA Atom and the answer is the same for your Verizon XV6700. Mark/Space has a "feature incomplete" beta version that supports Windows Mobile 5.0 devices (including your XV6700) for OS X. You can get more information about this software here:
I am too completly new to MAC and I am trying to figure out how to set up my XV6700 Pocket PC to Entourage...? Can you offer my any tips or clues....I followed the link you provided james, but I didn't understand where to look and what I needed or needed to do....thank you in advance...sorry if this is really basic...i'm a bit new to computing and definetly new to supporting myself..!
Welcome to Pocket PC Addict robfmc! All you need to do is buy and download The Missing Sync program from that link and follow the instructions to install the software. After you do that you can plug in your XV6700 and you'll be ready to sync!
