Am i being completely blind or does the o2 xda mini s NOT have a reasonable alarm that will wake me up!?!
Hi Percy!
Have you tried using the bulit-in Alarm function thats in the Clock settings and make sure you select a tone/sound in the Sounds and notifications.
Heres how you do it.
Start - Settings - Sounds & Notifications - Notifications - Event - Reminders. choose your desired tones and settings.
If you want your own tones/alarms sounds you can copy WAV files to Windows Directory.
I hope this helps...

All you need to do is to plug your Pocket PC into ActiveSync and hit the Explore button. You'll be able to open up your Windows directory and copy them there.
Is there a certain size limit on the mp3 file that the alarm will accept. I have put a small file in there no problem, but a full MP3 track doesnt show up on my alarm drop down menu???
Welcome to Pocket PC Addict Collard! The reason why it doesn't show up in the alarm drop down menu is because MP3s are not supported as "notification tones." It needs to be a WAV file (and I wouldn't recommend it because WAVs can get huge if you want a long song). Let me know if that makes sense.
hi, newbie here and to pocket pc's would the alarm fuction with MIDI files, i got so used to them on my samsung z140, want em back, to wake me for work, argggggggggggg.
I don't believe midi files will play as notifications... but if you converted it into a .wav file it'll work... It will take some work though. Maybe there's an easier way out there and I just don't know.
