Mio 168 language change

Hi All,

I recently bought a Mitac Mio 168 PDA/GPS from the United Kingdom. The item I have is in French. Is there a simple way of changing the operating system language to English instead of french.

Thanx,
Ivan

Welcome to Pocket PC Addict angboz! Unfortunately the only way around this I believe is to update the rom to WWE (Worldwide English). I'm not sure if this is possible for the MiTAC Mio 168, but it's definetly worth a shot!

Ivan:

I would recommend looking at this forum thread here. I believe it has the information you need to get an English version for your MiTac Mio 168. It's a long thread, but definetly worth taking a look at (hehe I just realized that I said something like this on the previous post in this thread).

Don't take it into a comptuer shop just yet. They will charge you an arm and a leg for something you can do yourself!

Please let us know if you get success or if you have any other questions!

-Tim
