Help with Yahoo mobile

I recently bought a sprint pocket pc 6700 and i love it. I have wireless internet both wifi and through sprint. I use yahoo alot so naturally ive been using yahoo mobile to get my email and use yahoo messenger. Now however my emails will no longer show pictures and messenger will not work at all i only get a blank screen when i try to log on. Does anyone out there have any suggestions for this problem.

Hi, Donsun... what changed when you stopped getting images and IM' service? I suspect the problem is that your Sprint Internet connection is interfering with your WiFi, or viceversa, and neither works right...

I can still get on the internet if that is what you mean. I am using my pocket pc to answer you right now. it just seems like something is blocking messenger from connecting. and keeping the pictures in my yahoo mail from downloading. maybe I'm missing what your trying to say. anyother thoughts?

Ok, Donsun... you have internet, but your IM is blocked and yahoo mail is blocking pictures... sounds like a security setting change...

Hey... are you using Yahoo Parental Controls??? :-b

Joking aside, check your security settings for IM and mail....

Good luck........... Manny

No Donsun... don't put yourself down because you are actually on the cutting edge of technology... Your Sprint Pocket PC uses Windows, doesn't it? You probably had the Microsoft software adjust itself automatically... ... hey, I've had it happen in desktops, so I imagine it can happen to a PPC, too.
The security settings you want to change are in your browser, probably Internet Explorer. on my MDA I was unable to find the security settings menu... it might be picking it up from my desktop settings...

Maybe your best bet is to go to the vendor who sold you the phone for help, or call the Sprint technical support... I know TMobile has been helpful for me...

Good luck, and please let me know what happens!

Hello, I'm a newbie. I'm sorry if I'm being redundant and ask a question that has already been posted (I think I got the answer but just wanted to be sure )

I'm planning to get the HTC 8125 and I want to know if the following is possible.
1) use Yahoo Mobile (email/messenger) via wi-fi? When I'm at home I like to use wi-fi so I wouldn't have to pay $ for using the phone.
2) I plan to go with t-mobile prepaid card plan ... I don't think it would make any difference correct?

Thanks everyone!!! Cool Forum.

1. Yes, you can via wifi, Bluetooth(active sync connection), GPRS (Data)
2. Yes, it does not matter if you have plan or prepaid. Alhough i know some plan have free data GPRS minutes or something.
Good luck
