Hello. I have a Cingular 8125. I have already checked the other help thread but I still cannot get my wifi to work. Earlier today when i tried to connect it it said something like "cannot locate page" now it is saying "cannot connect with current connection settings". A few moments later it says "unable to obtain a server assigned ip address". I have already deleted the gprs profile as I only want it to connect via wifi. Can someone post a giude on how to get my wifi working? Thank you.
Hard to tell where the issue is. My PPC6700 has a 802.11B antenna, so let's start there. Make sure you're router is set for that. Make sure the SSID/ Network name is the same. I use "Connects to - The Interent". Next I put the netowrk key in. Curently I'm using WEP and I uncheck " The key is automaticlly provided." Often I see poeple use the passphrase from the router not knowing that's not the key.
If you can send any other info that'll be great.
