qtec 9000/xda exec on 3 but when

Hiya all.

i am looking to buy a xda exec - so stoked with the functionality of this phone.

a Que if i may:

so suppose i am at home and want to view bog standard mp4 vid that is on the net with me wifi - can i access the site just as i would do when online with me laptop or do pda's only access certain websites?

Problem.

i have a contract with 3 till november. i would like to have this phone sooner. i even would consider buying the phone qith o2 but if i did then i would want my number moved over in november - i've been told that u can only transfer a number within the first month.

P.S. 3 are bringing out the same phone apparently but when - anyone know the details? Cheers.

As a recent switcher to O2 I can confirm that they will only take you PAK code at the inception of the contract - afterwards is too late so you wont get to keep your number unless you have this when you switch. I also have a vague feeling their may be an issue with taking 3 numbers with you as well...hmmm

Had a look at the exec at the same time as I was changing over and yes the functionality is nice but I couldn't justify the extra £170 for this over the mini s which is what I went for - on a £30 / month contract with 400 mins + 100 txts the mini s is currently free on an 18m contract or if you want a 12m one the phone is free on the £35 tarrif, same mins and txts.

Maybe its just me but 170 vs 0 wins every time, especially when I don't reckon there is MUCH of a difference between the two

Oh and to answer your other Q...I can get on to everything with the mini s so no reason to suspect the exec would be any different
