on my old motorola v600, it had the option to forward fax calls to another number, so i could give out my number as a fax and it would auto forward to my fax machine at work, or whereever i happened to be at. anyway to set this in windows mobile? ive done a few google searches and everything involves software downloads.
Jason: the old Motorola phones were really spectacular, yet if you have a Pocket PC, you've exchanged hardware control for software control. Identifying a fax call requires testing the line to see if it carries voice or data... forwarding the call is easy once the testing is done, so I guess that is why you are being offered software solutions to your need.
I hope this helps you............ Good luck! I've had fax machines that didn't recognize fax calls... .... solution: get a new machine! )(thats for when my boss bought the equipment, of course)
