Hey Everyone, like my Topic say's I'm fairly new to pda's, Windows Based (5.0) Pocket PC'c, etc. All I've had in the Passed is just about every Phone Verizon has; currently the LG vx8100 with VCAST / VCAST Music Store etc. Sorry, back to the Question. Am I correct by 'Assuming' that when I either do a Soft Reset or Turn the device on, and the Backlight is completely dark because the Brightness level slider is all the way down. So I have to navagate thru Start / Settings / Backlight to adjust it up. Is due to Low Level in Battery ? Also, Who, Where, How can I find the Correct Settings for Best results in Battery life for the XV6700 ? Answers were not found in Manuel or vzw Data Support. And I did do a Search prior to Posting this Thread / Question. Thanks Very Much !!!
The name is Lutfy Abassy or send me a SMS 770-366-0050, I have HTC 8125, I had the same problem. If you turn of your phone and turn it on in 2 min. it will be dark. The phone is on, but you have to go to settings and increase the backlight. The only solution is to do a hard reset. Make sure you save your numbers and any information that you would't want to be deleted. Save all your work by syc to your pc. Please let me know anything else.

Thanks allot for the Reply ! I've had to do Hard Resets in the past with no real positive results, however A Tech. told me it often happens when the Batt. gets low, plus his friend, who also has the same Model and also a Data Tech. with VZW, had the same problem, and found the "Magic" settings with in the Brightness setting's that seamed to really make a difference. Let me know if you what me to pass it on. *Thanks again for the help ! Nice "Newbie" Welcome...
