Questions on O2 Atom

Since O2 Atom does not support 3G. How can I connect to internet wihtout using wifi in London? If I want to make cheap call using Skype, can my Atom support Skype? As I saw some articles which mentioned O2 have problem with Skype. Please help me.

The only way to connect to the internet with your O2 XDA Atom is by using your EDGE connection that is provided by your mobile carrier. At this point I believe you can only use Skype on a WiFi connection. However, SoonR offers a solution that allows you to use Skype from your Atom. You just need to have your computer on at the time you want to make the Skype call and SoonR does the rest. It's ingenious really. Let me know if you have any questions.

I can use skype to make calls with EDGE GPRS...I have no problems with it whatsoever...

Well then, I stand corrected. I guess I never tried to use Skype on GPRS.
