Newcomer

I am a newcomer to this page and also a rookie in using PPC. The first thing I wonder is how can I export my Palm data (addresses/date book) to MS Outlook to synchronize with my new toy. Pls help with advices or useful links. Regards.

PalmOne has conduit software usually included with your device that will allow you to sync your contacts into/with Outlook. Once the contacts are in Outlook, your PPC will automatically import them, IF you have chosen to sync your address book/contacts which is ON by default in activesync.
So, when you set up activesync initially, you will be given the option set up a partnership with the computer you are using, or to use activesync as a guest. You will need to set up the partnership, which will allow you to sync your contacts and other data with your PPC.
Once that has been done successfully, your contacts should reside in the PIM software of your device as well as on your computer.

I knew that Bill Gates was a palm owner but nobody believed me.
Welcome to Pocket PC Addict
JD is right. Pull out your old palm CD and install the sync software so you can sync to Outlook, once it is there, Activesync from the box your Pocket PC came in will take care of the rest.
