One of the options I use on my Pocket PC to keep the alarm sounds fresh - and thus more difficult to ignore - is a custom alarm sound. It really isn't too difficult to implement. To use an alarm of your choice, all you need to do is get the sound in .wav sound format. Then copy it to your /Windows folder. Once it's there, go to the Sounds & Notifications panel under settings. Use the dropdown under the sounds to choose the new sound.
Currently, I am using a .wav file that is included in the default skin of Wisbar advanced 2.0. It's called startups which is sort of a techno sound - almost like a Star Wars sound. Do you switch out your alarm and notification sounds? If so, tell us your favorites!

I use alarmToday plugin...allows me to play mp3's as my alarm tone...yeah...try sleeping thru that one! LOL.
