Addicted to e-mail? You're not alone

How many times a day do you check email? I know I have it on constantly, and it is pretty much a static connection, so...I check when something comes in I guess. :P CNet's review of a 4000 person survey reveals that e-mail is a tad addictive for some with people. With many of the respondents checking email on vacation, 5 or more times a day and 77% of the people having more than one email account.
For six out of 10 users even vacation is not the time to take a break from e-mail. Almost all of the respondents felt that it is very or somewhat important to have access to e-mail.
About half of the respondents, or 47 percent, said they check their personal e-mail at work, albeit sporadically.
The survey also found that exchanging e-mail addresses is as important as passing around home phone or cell phone numbers. Nearly 32 percent admitted they would give their e-mail address to a new acquaintance, compared with 37 percent and 28 percent of participants who expressed a willingness to part with their home and mobile numbers, respectively.

I know I'm not addicted .. I only carry a ppc everywhere, in case I come across a WiFi hot spot, my phone beeps when e-mails come in, and I'm upgrading too a blackberrry... don't see why that could be addicion... I call it dedication!
