I am looking for some good "tech pants". What are tech pants? I'm glad you asked. Tech pants are what geeks like me would use to store all of our gadgets in our pockets without resorting to huge cargo pockets hanging down around my knees. In other words I am looking for something that allows me to store my Dell Axim X30, my Leatherman wave, my flashlight (yes I'm really a geek), Bluetooth keyboard occasionally, my cell phone, my Bluetooth headset, and my old-fashioned device (some of you would call it a wallet). It needs to be work safe or acceptable. In other words it cannot be jeans. I want to be able to look fairly decent for meetings with executives. I don't want there to be bulges and ripples in odd places. So do not point me in the direction of a pair of slacks where it appears that I have a huge tumor on my hip. I would also like them to be reasonable in price. Although I've heard great things about the Scott E. Vest kind. I would like to see if we can do it for under $120 per pair of slacks, although I will consider trying them if that is my only hope. Has anyone tried to Dockers Mobile Pants?
If any of you have a Leatherman wave, you'll know it doesn't feel well in pants pockets. It's much too heavy. Walking to your car or simply strolling around the office, feels too weighty. It often feels like it'll rip right through the pockets in my slacks. Also, I'm tired of filling up my belt with all sorts of gadgets. I'm beginning to look a lot like Robocop... So what you all think? Do you have any suggestions for tech/geek pants for me?.
Hey man! Got a time machine you're carrying too?
You could go back to 1984 and buy some parachute pants maybe.
