Syncing to multiple desktops

I am new to the pda world. Have a IPAQ 4705 and would like to sync with my home computer and work computer. I use two separate outlook email accounts. Is it possible to sync to both? Or am I just dreaming?

You can easily sync to 2, EXACTLY, 2 computers. Outlook will sync notes, contacts, and to do, but will only allow you to sync 1 inbox. You may have to kill the partnership you have at home now and re-create it, there is a question in the setup asking about syncing with 1 or 2 computers. You can also create guest accounts to other computers, but the functionality is severly limited.

Great, that is good news. Can you point me to a spot where I can find step by step instructions? I know that when I initially setup the pda link, I read about the sync to two computer options, but I did not see that option come up during the actual setup.

Actually, the best thing to do is go to the second computer and insert the CD-ROM you got with your PPC, and it will walk you through the second computer setup. When you installed it on your first computer it knew that it was the first computer, so it did not offer you the second computer setup. However, when you install it on a second computer and put your PPC into the cradle, it senses that this is the second computer, and that second computer setup screen is then activated. I just set up my 4705 without any problem on two computers and that was the process.
When setting up on the second computer, though, it will ask you about the Inbox, and as the other reply stated, you can only sync one Inbox to your PPC. So if you want to keep the Inbox on your first computer synced with your PPC, then don't check the Inbox icon when installing on your second computer.
Good luck!

Let me add my two cents as well. To avoid wrestling with it too much, if you are wanting to sync your inbox, make sure that the computer you want to sync the inbox with is the first you sync your Pocket PC with. For example if you want to sync your inbox of your home PC make sure the first PC you sync your Pocket PC with is your home PC. If you sync your work PC first even though you uncheck "inbox" -- most likely, you will not be able to sync your home inbox. The only way around that is to delete your home profile and re-create it.

You guys are awesome. Thanks for the help. I am already synced to my home computer, so I should be ok. I'll try syncing to the work computer next week.
Since the only conflict with the second computer is the inbox, I am assuming calendars, tasks, etc., will sync with both?
