Wireless control of projector -- How To?

I'm considering the purchase of a Pocket PC and want some ideas on different ways they may be able to address the following need:
I'm facilitating a meeting in our conference room. We have a networked PC available for use whose monitor is connected to a projector. I'd like to be able to type data into the PPC and wirelessly project it to the screen and think there may be several approaches:
1) Could I use some sort of Pocket PC application (Word? Powerpoint?)and just project its screen to the projector? What would be the wireless interface between the PPC and the projector? The projector currently doesn't have any kind of wireless capability like Bluetooth. What hardware might be needed?
2) Or is there a way to wirelessly take control of the PC in the conference room using the PPC? Our ethernet network is not currently wireless ... would we just need to get some sort of wireless router?
3) Or is there some other great, simple, wonderful way to do this?
TIA for any comments!

You could set up wireless network and control the computer via a VNC connection or similar app (Which is just like remote controlling the computer).
Or you could purchase one of the following (all of which can be found by googling):
Margi CF/SD presenter
Pretec Presenter
Fly presenter
Either one of these will slot into a compact flash slot on your PDA and allow you to make a connection via a cable directly to the projector.
They all come with software that allows you view and (I think) edit Powerpoint presentations on your device.
Powerpoint presentations you've completed on your Pc can just be dragged over via activesync to a memory card, for displaying on your device.
You can then control the presentation on your PDA via a small infrared remote control that beams to your PDA.
Or you might want to stuff all that and just purchase a really expensive projector that just takes memory cards direct or has a built in wifi card.
I'm just waiting for my CF card presenter to delivered, once it is I'll be back on track presenting training.
Let us know what kinda decision you come too.

Wireless control of projector -- How To?

Thanks for the ideas!
Being able to project, say, Powerpoint content from the Pocket PC to the projector is one thing. What I'm really aiming for is to interactively type and project notes from a brainstorming meeting on a real time basis. More of a virtual flip-chart or whiteboard application.
Yes, I also want to be able to project prepared information at our meetings, but it's the more interactive real-time stuff I'm trying to figure out how to do. Currently, I either write on a whiteboard with my back to the meeting participants or type into the PC, also with my back to attendees. I'd love to be able to sit at the conference table with everyone else and type and/or draw into the Pocket PC.
Any more ideas?

As I don't have my Presenter CF card, so I'm not 100% sure, but I would assume that the CF card adaptor acts as a video out, so anything you have on the screen will be shown on either a monitor or projector, pretty much just like a laptop connection.
Alternatively if you already have pc in the room why not just connect a scribble pad thingie (I forget the tech term, it could be drawing tablet, anyway the widget used by computer artists a lot), they have a pad and pen setup that interacts with the keyboard, so replacing a mouse.
or depending on your device a video out card/adaptor may already be available e.g. their are ones available for the Dell X50v and Toshiba E805.
I also think (Oh! it hurts, luckily I'm sitting down ) that there is a software alternative that allows you to connect via a cable to a pc/laptop and have whatever you write on the pda appear on the screen, so you might be able to connect your pda to a Pc/laptop via a cable. The pc/laptop top can be connected in the normal manner to a projector (which shows whatever is on the screen) and hey presto! your own scratch board for use when sitting down. (that is all guess work by the way, but it could/should work).
Ha! found what I was thinking of, check out the software options here :PPC Tablet Remote Control Suite
and here: Total Input Elite Edition

YES! PPC Tablet 2.0 looks like just the thing! It could be quite astounding to command the projector directly from the conference table with a little Pocket PC. Baffle and impress the audience with the technology ... divert attention from the true content!
Thanks again!
