Libraries Test Free Wi-Fi, But Mostly for Patrons
If you are like me, you are constantly on the hunt for WiFi hotspots. Whenever I find myself in a new location for more than 10 minutes, I turn on the NIC and see if I can get a signal. Sometimes I am happily surprised. Other times I am quite disappointed. With that said, lists of Free WiFi hotspots are always welcome. The Wireless Librarian is just one of those type of sites. It breaks down a list of US libraries that offer Wireless access and then provides info on whether access is free, fee-based, restricted or for staff only.
Is your local library Free Wifi enabled? All of mine are not.
