One function that can be quite handy for use with the Pocket PC is a desktop PC viewer/controller. What these utilities do is allow you to see and control your Pocket PC from your desktop pc. You can use your keyboard to enter data or write reports. You can use your mouse to point and click. Well, a secret to some is that Microsoft has a Free Powertoy that lets you do just that! I prefer to use the venerable freeware, rCE. The nice thing about rCE is that it initiates the communications from the PC side. That means I fire up rCE on my desktop and away I go. There's no need to start a program on the PPC side. http://www.freewareppc.com/communication/rce.shtml
