I recently upgraded my computer to Office 2003. Now Activesync no longer syncs up my Calendar or Contacts. It only syncs my Files and Inbox. The Calendar and Contacts show up in the list as sync options but don't have the checkbox next to them. I upgraded Activesync to v3.7.1 but that didn't fix the problem. Any ideas on how I can resolve this issue? Thanks. FYI, my PocketPC version is 4.20.1081 and my computer's O/S is W2K, sp4.
hmm...this is a tricky one.
How I would probably fix it is by backing everything up. Then rename my Pocket PC. Once you dock it, you'd be propted to create a new sync profile.
At that point, I'd create a new one with tasks and calendar selected to sync. If It syncs well from there, then I'd just add the other functions like files, etc. as I went along.

I had this problem, nearly 2 years after your post... My solution was to upgrade to ActiveSyncc V4.2 (Beta at time of post), remove the problem synchs from Active Synch, soft reset the device, reboot my PC, and synch, then reset the device again, then re-add the components to synch (email, tasks, contacts, etc), resynch and all was fine.
The problem is, even if you hard reset your device, ActiveSynch "remembers" which items have been synched, and does not resynch them. My presumption is this was to eliminate the previous issues of duplicates.
