An extremely skeptical Inquirer, is reporting about an Intel survey which found that only 34% of UK adults knew what WiFi was. Some even reportedly answered that a HotSpot was the center of a volcano. "Wi-Fi awareness in the UK was supposedly high for the 25-34 age group, 25% of which understood what a 'hotspot' is, and just under half knew what wi-fi means.
This cynical writer, however, finds it hard to believe that so many "knew and understood" what Wi-Fi means. None of my chums have a clue what Wi-Fi is, and they're hardly Amish about technology. "
I don't have a problem believing this - even 34% sounds high. How about you?
Well, I love playing wifi ball with my son. They don't hurt when they hit you in the head.
