Problem after a hard reset

I just performed a hard reset and restored my contacts and appointments.
Problem is that scheduled appointments are not appearing on the today screen. All I get is "no upcoming appointments" even though I am able to see them through monthly view. Any help would be much appreciated as I am new to the ppc world. Thanks in advance.

How far in advance are the upcoming appointments? I know there is a radio button in the "Today" option for the calendar that turns on "upcoming appointments" for the Today screen.
Let me know if this helps.

From the Start menu go to "Settings" then tap on the "Today" Icon. When you are in the Today Settings you will see an "Items" tab at the bottom. Tap on that. Then highlight the "Calendar" item and hit the "Options" button.
You should see a radio button for "Upcoming events"
To recap:
Start->Settings->Today
once in there:
Items tab (at the bottom) ->Highlight Calendar and tap the "Options" button.
Let me know if this helps.

For the calendar options look under:
Start Menu: Settings: Today: Items (tab): Options
I can't remember exactly how it works but I remember that if the appointments are too far in the future they didn't show up. (I have too many appointments to test right now).
You might also want to go to the time control panel (under settings) and move the date to a few days before the event to see if that works.
