Ok, so after being without a ppc for over a week, I find its becoming critical to replace it The big question being what to upgrade too. So I figured why not ask those in the know...
I'm currently looking at the Toshia e740 and e805.. anyone have any warnings/suggestions.. anything I should know about either device before I buy.
Any input is appreciated.

Definetly go with the Toshiba e80x because of the VGA capabilities. I had the same question a few months ago and recieved an answer here. I hope this helps in your decision.

How did I know you would say that Since the feature set of the e740 and e805 are close (vga and mem being the diff's), its coming down to a price point, and do I need vga.. I also just recently bought a new laptop
I know the e805 is a killer device, it just pains me to drop $800+ Again on a ppc. Tho if I get the contracts I've bid on recently, that'll be far less of an issue!
Are there any reasons to stay away from the e740? discontinued? suppport?
