In our endless pursuit for 24/7 Pocket PC connectivity, many of us have tried the paid for Wi-Fi hotspots others have taken to warchalking, and many more are getting into the Wardriving craze. One one Hotspot location method that never crossed my mind is Warflying (Finding wireless hot spots from high above the ground.) I am not sure how this is accomplished, but there is a segment on NEXT@CNN this weekend that we'll have to tune in to find out. It airs 3pm EST Saturday and 5pm Sunday. Source: thewirelessweblog
Anyone have some advanced info on how this is accomplished? For some reason, I have a picture of someone floating around in a hot air balloon trying to pick up SSIDs.
Let me know how it is....I'll be glued to the Flyers vs. Tampa Bay Stanley cup playoffs....I love Philly sports! Go F-L-Y-E-R-S! and by the way...if I see a hot air balloon floating over my house....I'm pulling out my dart gun!
