One of the original "mainstream" apps for Pocket PC is Snoopsoft Dashboard. Written years ago, Dashboard was created to enhance the original Pocket PC today screen. It enables you to skin the today screen and add in functions such as detailed calendar and tasks to your today screen, all while offering beautiful user created skins.
