PC Magazine: Fun Software for Your PDA

PC Magazine has an article featuring 14 'mini reviews' of different "Fun" titles for PDAs. Some are Palm titles, others are Pocket PC. What's interesting about this to me is that one of the reviews changed my mind about a game for Pocket PC. Insaniquarium is one of the titles I thought I'd never, ever, never try. But it was one of the ones that won Editor's choice! So I downloaded it and gave it a try. I think it's more a game my wife will love so I beamed it to her. I guess you can't judge a game by it's screenshots.

"We're well past the days when our personal digital assistants were merely appointment and address repositories. Now that Palm OS and Pocket PC devices come with lots of built-in memory, memory card slots, and beautifully clear and detailed color screens, companies are releasing PDA software that you might once have thought you'd use only on a PC—games, reference materials, and much more. Here is a selective survey of some of the products that have crossed our desks, caught our interest, and taken up a little too much of our downtime!"

Of course for those of us who have a VGA screen (not I) the games are most likely a better play.

I come home I can hog the TV by playing TRUE CRIME STREETS OF L.A.

Heh! I visit businesses and properties to assess the level of risk to employee's and the public. I been doing it for while and pretty much have it bolted down, so I only tend to be on site for about 2hrs Max a day.
I work from home, where I spend hours upon hours writing my reports (which are full of technical detail).
Well I would spend a long time writing reports, if I hadn't created a database that spews out client specific reports for me, based on the data I captue on site with my Ipaq 8).
I've just gone freelance so maybe in a year or so I might be in position to go recruiting! !
