One of my most used PPC/desktop apps is Pocket Controller from SOTI. If you've never heard of it, it is allows you to control your PPC from your desktop computer. Many people use it to enter data into their handhelds without having to rely on the text entry methods built into the Pocket PC. Personally, I use it mainly for development. It is so much nicer to push off some of the development processing requirements to the Pocket PC and not having to rely on an emulator(which often crashes my desktop).
