Poll: Do you leave your PPC docked all day and charging?

All:
How many have their PPC docked most of the day at the office, and charging? Do you think this is bad for the battery?

Mine isn't charging every minute of all day, only when I'm in my office or close to a cradle. Meetings and stuff I go charge free.... Oh the horror!!!

Mine spends quite a bit of time in the cradle charging, as I typically use my ppc as a music center while I'm working... is this bad for the battery? Will sitting in the charger with a full battery hurt it?

Bru,
Everything I've ever read about the batteries in Pocket PCs states that topping off the battery is not harmful. Nor is continuous charging.
YMMV...but I doubt it

YMMV...had to look it up...

YMMV...I had to look it up. :?
I keep it on my sync cable all day (at home...since I work at home :P ) I've never had any problems and I've been doing it for two years now..
I do notice that when I put my Ipaq in the cradle, the lights in the neighborhood dim like a prison camp during an execution.....is that bad?

Hmmm...your neighborhood must require AA batteries to run then...Who switches them out?

Another good question to ask is this:
When docked and powered, is your backlight on 100% of the time, or no?
Anyone see an issue with this?

Mine's on all day every day.
I was once chatting with one of the guys over at PPCTECHS.com about this issue of leaving the backlight on all the time. He said and I quote: "I've never seen a pda with the tube burnt out"
So I've been trying to burn mine out for years with no luck

Good question...I haven't seen any burn-in myself.
Anyone else?
