Alert Technologies has been developing a little alarm fix over the past several weeks that is helping a lot of people fix their alarm problems on iPAQ 2200s and the like. It is a freeware fix that can be found here: FixAlarm
The author just emailed me an update about it. It has a new feature which has a "Force Power On feature". Sounds like a winner to me
