Can a faulty SD card damage the unit?
The reason I ask is, I have been having dramas since I purchased my E310 which resulted in the unit being replaced. I had also purchased an SD card and had trouble with it in my old unit (sometiimes the unit didnt recognise the card installed or froze the unit up when I tried to copy files or backup to it. While it was inserted, the unit response was very slow.) Now that my new unit has arrived, I'm not sure if I should try the card out again in it or not.
I would appreciate advice.
Thanks
Sure, a bad SD card can cause a lot of problems.
What I would do is use a Desktop PC card reader to format that card before I ever used it in a new Pocket PC. If you've formatted and formatted it, then really it might be time to cut your losses and buy a new SD card.
Hope this helps,
Brad
