I just received an email this morning that Pocket Informant won Productivity app of the year. Congratulations to Alex and team!
It made me wonder though, what people thought would be the next big app for the Pocket PC? What do you wish the Pocket PC could do? What problems could it solve for you if only ___________ software existed?
i'd love to upload stability_os1.0 and have the thing work reliably without soft resets!!!!!
my "killer app" is probably battery bar - i know there are MANY today plug-ins that show battery life, icons, etc. - i just like what battery bar does, and i think it does it fairly well. another killer app/plug in i have is the free infuzer - it adds 5 days of weather to my outlook, which appears on the today screen - nice!
other top apps for me include gps (too many to choose from) and dictionaries. textmaker is the killer word processing app, but the limited screen real estate makes word processing on the pocket pc tedius...
gee, after all this rambling, did i even answer the question?
I would like to see somebody write software that will allow an office to sync schedule information to multiple wireless Pocket PCs from a single PC workstation.
Think of how great it would be to have Doctors or Lawyers just carry a Pocket PC and not have to actually sync it in a cradle to get schedule changes throughout the day.
Well... it would be great for me, I have a customer who wants to do it right now.
