Help please! outlook fails when ipaq connected

Why does my desktop outlook stop working every time I dock my ipaq? It used to work, but it won't for the past 3 days. I have to disconnect my ipaq to get emailz.
Can someone help?
Thx.

soft reset your pocket pc. if that doesn't do the trick, unplug your activesync cable, remove activesync, reinstall activesync, and cross your fingers.
you may also have a bent pin in your cradle, so if the above 2 don't work, try a different cradle or sync cable
finally, if all else fails, make a backup of your unit (sprite software), and then HARD RESET - wipe it clean baby! if it STILL doesn't work, go to palm

Is your Pocket PC set up to check pop-mail? If it is set to do that, when you connect it to your computer it will conflict with your desktop outlook if they are both set to check the same mailbox. Launch pocket outlook and choose a different mailbox to fix.
Hope this helps,
Brad
